The First Pour reimagines one of the most iconic miracles in a place it might happen today: a rooftop dinner with friends as the sun goes down over Brooklyn. At the centre of it all, a modern-day Jesus casually pours water into a glass and watches it become wine.
Part of the Halo & Ash collection, this original So Valiant artwork takes an ancient story of transformation and celebration and places it somewhere entirely familiar. Sacred imagery meets contemporary life, with a miracle happening almost unnoticed between dinner, conversation and another glass of wine.
